The University of Florida College of Pharmacy will accept international students into the Doctor of Pharmacy program. International applicants should follow the general application steps in addition to the requirements listed below.
Test of English as a Foreign Language
International applicants are required to take the TOEFL unless they meet the requirements listed below.
Language skill assessment
Language skills will be assessed during the applicant’s interview to determine proficiency.
Foreign transcript evaluation
International applicants should have their transcripts evaluated by the World Education Services
International applicants are required to take the TOEFL unless they meet the following:
- One academic year of English courses at a college/university in the U.S. with grades of B or higher OR
- All high school instruction in the U.S.
- A language skill assessment determines proficiency during the applicant’s interview
- TOEFL iBT version with a minimum composite score of 80, but 100 or higher is preferred. For each subject area, the following minimum score is required: Reading = 20+, Listening = 20+, Speaking = 25+, Writing = 23+
