When should you apply for financial aid?
You can apply for federal aid by using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) beginning on October 1 of the calendar year before you begin pharmacy school (example: submit the FAFSA on October 1, 2026, if applying for 2027 admission). The UF Student Financial Aid on-time date of December 15 is used when awarding institutional grant funds. The FAFSA application deadline is June 30, 2028 for the 2027/2028 academic year. What scholarships are available?
The College of Pharmacy offered approximately $981,000 in financial support to students in 2025-26, including nearly $224,000 in scholarships for newly admitted students.
- Visit the UF College of Pharmacy scholarship webpage for a listing of some scholarships available to first-year students.
- Submitting an application to the UF College of Pharmacy automatically qualifies students for college scholarships. There is not a separate application.
- Private scholarship opportunities may be found through the UF Scholarship Search Engine by selecting “Non-UF” under the “Scholarship Type” section. Please note that the scholarships listed under “College of Pharmacy” are not open to apply to, as they are a part of the continuing student PharmD Scholarship Application, which opens during each Fall semester.
