Who is Eligible and When to Apply?

You should apply for federal aid by using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in October of the calendar year before you begin pharmacy school (example: submit the FAFSA in October 2017 if applying for 2018 admission) The UF-Student Financial Aid deadline date used when awarding federal and institutional need-based gift aid is December 15th. We must receive the results of your FAFSA with a valid EFC (Expected Family Contribution) by December 15th for you to be considered “on time“.
The UF Student Financial Affairs Office is located at Criser Hall on the main campus of the University of Florida. This office coordinates and processes financial aid applications for Pell Grants, Direct Student Loans, Perkin Loans, Direct Plus Loans, Florida State Grants, etc. This office can be contacted by calling (352) 392-1275.

After the first professional year in the College of Pharmacy, additional financial aid from several pharmacy sources is available for students in satisfactory academic standing.

The Financial Aid Handbook lists all college scholarships, awards and loans. The application to apply for the scholarships listed in the handbook becomes available every October. An email will be sent to let the students know when it is posted.
